Delete your Bhakti account

Bhakti (by Narayan) lets you delete your account and associated data directly in the app. This page explains how.

In the Bhakti app (recommended)

If you are signed in with Google, you can delete your account immediately from the app. You must be signed in — guest users do not have a server account to delete.

Steps to delete your account

Open the Bhakti app on your device.
Go to Settings (bottom navigation).
Under Account, tap Delete account.
Read the confirmation message, then tap Delete.
Your account is deleted and you are signed out. Synced data is removed from our servers.

Data that is deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

Your account (Google sign-in identity stored with our authentication provider)
Your profile (email address, display name, and profile picture we received from Google)
Your synced favorites stored on our servers

Data that is not deleted

Guest favorites — if you used the app without signing in, favorites exist only on your device. Uninstall the app or clear Bhakti’s storage in your device settings to remove them.
Offline devotional content — aartis cached on your device for offline reading remain until you uninstall the app or clear app data. This content is not tied to your account.
Aggregated or de-identified data — we do not retain personally identifiable data after deletion, except where the law requires us to keep certain records.

Retention period

Account deletion through the app is processed immediately. Your profile, authentication record, and synced favorites are removed from our active systems without undue delay.

Encrypted backups maintained by our cloud providers may retain deleted data for a limited time (typically up to 30 days) before being overwritten. We do not use deleted account data for marketing or profiling.

If you cannot access the app or deletion fails, email us at gamingverse78@gmail.com. Include “Account deletion” in the subject line and the email address linked to your Bhakti account in the message body so we can find and delete your data. We will verify your request and delete your account within 30 days.
